Inspired by Kendrick Lamar’s definitive and powerful lyricism, we’re bringing a collaboration that invites you to do your thing… a little differently.

great to see black people winning.
Thats how you pimp a Reebok commercial
Like buying Reebok’s is gonna change anything. Not so for the workers in sweatshops that make pennies on the hour I didn’t see them marching in the commercial. Reebok is owned by Adidas and the 1% own Adidas. These corporations love appropriating our legitimate grievances and twisting revolution into something that can be remedied by buying their product. Don’t be fooled by the moving imagery of all the people marching in the street or the smoke alluding to civil unrest. This imagery appeals to our rightful desire for radical political and social change. The ad is designed to make the sneakers cool because protests are ‘cool’. Corporations would love to see you protest after you buy their shit so they can get the free publicity when cameras come to document the police beating you up with it on. Do you really think that these corporations give a shit about you? Don’t buy a damn pair of shoes from them if you want to change the world, vote! Kendrick takes a L for this.
Do you really thing he wrote that poem so that you can buy some reebox? #TheyButterflyThatSatBehindTheDoor
