hahahahaha its pretty pathetic that elliott wilson calls himself a “journalist”. he reflects exactly why hip hop journalism is complete ass: people like him think they’re suppose to be publicists for important people in the industry (jay z) rather than being journalists. I don’t think there is a single hip hop “journalist” at this point, even the somewhat more respectable ones like rob markman and ernest baker, who haven’t at some point disgusted me with their bias.
