September 8, 2015 @ 10:04 PM EDT
Song
Jeezy Has A Dream.
Over Zaytoven’s piano keys, Jeezy preaches to the congregation of the streets with the audio of his letter. To be continued with his album on November 13. Amen.
Jeezy I dont know what you preachin about all of a sudden. You been tellin kids cop a brick for years now. You makin it sound like black youths cant go to school and their futures are already predetermined n thats fucked up n not true.Muthafuckas on parole can get jobs too thru employment services too. Quit makin shit seem hopeless and unrealistic cause thats bullshit.
MAYBE HE’S ON SOME DIFFERENT SHIT THIS TIME BAMA ,HE MAY SURPRISE YOU…LETS WAIT AND SEE!!! FK YO FEELINGS!!!
Thats not true, he gives perspectives on his albums such as The Inspiration and The Recession that also apply to people that don’t hustle but he speaks to adults for the most part that were already hustlers before he came out. Its like when Raekwon came out, his music was “Only Built 4CL”… People can focus on Jeezy but thats only part of the condition that already existed in the streets beforehand.
Shut the fuck up!
As far as Jeezy’s content overall? I’ve seen this movie before with Jayz in the mid 2000s when he took of the throwbacks and put on button up shirts and suits. The minute Jeezy tries to go from Young Jeezy to more socially aware, sophisticated Jeezy? People will bash it and say they miss the young Jeezy rapping about hustling.
I don’t have a problem with him talkin bout real issues, I wish more dudes would. Just don’t make these problems seem totally hopeless n unrealistic.
I feel you. I think its alot of rappers talking about real issues and they get labeled as being preachy and every excuse is made for why they can’t be considered hot even though they have much better records out then the rappers continuing to rap about the same shit. People say they wanna hear some real shit and then get it and complain that its not getting enough radio spins or plays in the club. For the rappers that came in on some street shit? Its like they can’t mature or grow up or else people a diss it for not being like they early young nigga shit.
.Muthafuckas on parole can get jobs too thru employment services too. ” Who told you this bullshit lie, u make it seem like it is easy stop it fam.
My nigga lil J got out after doing 6 years n his ass was working on foreclosed cribs 2 weeks later.I had another nigga get out after 4 years n he was working in a plant making parts, so I don’t wanna hear nuthin these bum niggas is sayin. Its just easier to sell D than to fill out job applications n show up on time.
Its not easier selling dope then it is filling out a job application but if the job(s) don’t call you back and the bills is due on the first and you have a connect and clientele right outside your window? What are you gonna do? Just wait by the phone till the lights get cut off? No
In the words of Schoolboy Q “You Must Live That Inside The House Life”, people who are on Parole have the hardest times getting jobs, so that statement is a lie that’s why most of my street homies revert back to the streets… Stop trying to belittle the message and take something from it… When Jeezy came in the game he always spoke on what HE SEEN and the consequences of living the street life… His message was EVERYONE who hustles is a trapper whether you’re in college or in the streets. He NEVER told the kids to go buy a brick he ALWAYS told the kids “If You Want To Be A Thug Be A Cooperate Thug”, which means take that same street hustle and apply it to something legal like Jay Z, Nas and even Boosie did!
Fuck what that weak ass nigga say.I aint tryin to hear those lame excuses. I just said I know 2 dudes who got out after doin home invasions n one got a job workin on homes n the other in a production plant after being out a few weeks. Muthafuckas would rather take that easy route than the legal route. If you a tatted up from head to toe retard, nobody tryin to hire you anyway
Your talking about two people in a country that has thrown more people in prison then any nation on earth. Of course its people that get jobs after they get released from prison and its also alot of people who return to the streets. Shit its people who never been to prison that can’t get jobs because of a felony. Jeezy didn’t just create the issue in his mind, its a reality.
The Snowman has melted….Strike 2 off this upcoming album Jeezy
Trash. Damn Jeezy not you too
Nigga its not a song ! So how can it be TRASH ?
This aint New Music! Ive been had!
These niggas spending too much time with Louis Farrakhan or nah??
What was Jeezy thinking? This song is trash and the production sucks. No pounding beats. I can not support this trash. Artist starting to put things out cause of thier name instead of feeding us the quality they made before they got big. You should be ashamed of this project. I hope you just put this out to please the record company. Rick Ross ethered Jeezy.
Here is a$method how it is possible to make 65 bucks each hour… After searching for a job that suits me for six months , I started making cash over this internet site and now I possibly could not be more satisfied. Man what the f is this bs. Jeezy ti n lil wayne felll off haaard
so he puts out an album with the all seeing eye in the cover and now is preaching for the good things in life? trapping but councious? fuck out of here. brrrrr
Pastor Young is the truth
Where’s the church Organ Zaytoven? Talk that Talk Pastor Young… When they start preaching the kids stop listening, when they start telling lies the kids start listening… That about sums up the ignorance in these comments and todays rappers… Coming from the streets of the South; I thank God for people like Jeezy, JT Money, Trick Daddy, Goodie Mob, Flied Mob, the old Boosie, Soulja Slim, B.G. and T.I. their music and words taught young dudes with no guidance in the streets how to move an that it’s ok to make mistakes… I’ll never forget hearing a street nigga say “Jeezy motivates me to hustle, Rick Ross motivates me to spend money” that’s the difference between artist back then and artist of today… When Jeezy was talking moving bricks that was his reality, ANYONE whose a hustler is a trapper too, college kids and street kids… Jeezy might have spoke on the street life but he also spoke on the RISK of living the street life WHICH IS WAY MORE IMPORTANT… The message was always hustle till the casket drop, and I respect that!
people goes to music looking for fun, if this sucka wants to change from selling bricks to pull some wisdom out of his ass he shouldnt expect the crowd to turn into his ¨disciples¨ just cause he name dropping malcom x and luther king. fuck this wanna be smart and councious all of a sudden when you being claiming drug dealing your entire carrer. brrrr
Brrrr? Ain’t that Gucci Mane shit? Lol, I thank it’s safe to say KIDS should follow Jeezy’s advice not Gucci’s LMAO… The ignorance of your comment is the same ignorance people displayed when the OG Nas starting preaching to the kids and when KRS-1 starting dropping knowledge… Do you your homework my friend Malcolm X was once a street dude like Jeezy, but later grew up and understood their was more to life then just the streets… Either you’re stupid and just content with ignorance because Jeezy’s message to his fans was always “If You Want To Be A Thug Be A Cooperate Thug”… So suck a dick sucka and stop spreading that negative hate, theirs to much of that in the in world ALREADY!
your ignorance comparing jeezy with krs 1 is unprecedented, if you want to turn your average rapper into your pastor then YOU need to go to school and understand the difference in between real knowledge and quoting somebody else’s work trying to get dumb people to believe you are wise.
First off if Jeezy gets on the mic and wants to say something positive he shouldn’t just go against that and lie to himself just because he came in the game fresh out the streets. This nigga was running with the real Big Meech, I know because them niggas was hanging out outside the clubs in my city back n the day. He had to tell that hustla story because who better to tell it then a nigga who came up under the wing of one of the biggest hustlers in the streets in the late 90s-early 2000s… 2nd the fans should be smart enough to not always wanna be ignorant. It would be better to take some advice about the streets from a nigga who was actually running the streets then a rapper who was not and the fans of street music should be smart enough to know that street niggas aint one dimensional. You ever seen a street nigga have a convo with his kids about the importance of an education? Its the same shit. You got a street nigga talking about going a different route. Why its so hard for fans to comprehend that? Idk.
JEEZY BEEN DROPING CONSTANT GARBAGE SINCE THE RECESSION ALBUM NIGGAS WONT ADMIT IT THO THEY JUST GONNA SAY ATLEAST HE A REAL NIGGA
