White Privilege is right up there with Pretty Girl privilege. You get things automatically that other people don’t automatically get, like attention: free drinks, opened doors, dinners paid for, choices basically. Most pretty girls don’t realize that homely looking women don’t live the type of life that they do, and the stuff that is given to them is kind of taken for granted. Privilege exists on any level, white privilege doesn’t work when walking through an inner city, for example, where you’d stick out and possibly become a target, when a brown person would probably attract no attention at all from the locals. It’s about the attention you get, and while I don’t think you see white privilege so much anymore when it comes to some things, but there are things like treatment from cops, real estate agents, shopowners, AirBnB renters, etc that definitely show that people are treated differently because of what they look like..
