Music icon Prince has reportedly passed away today at his estate in Minnestota. He was 57. So far no cause of death has been announced, but he was admitted to the hospital last week for flu symptoms.
Prince’s impact on pop culture is ineffable. With 39 albums to his credit, his career spanned over 30 years. His music has been sampled by the likes of Kanye West, 2Pac, Jay Z, Beyonce, Notorious B.I.G, and more. Condolences to his friends and family

Michael Jackson was a super excellent and talented artist but with that being said, I can’t say he was better then Prince.
Prince probably was the better artist overall but, MJ’s influence was 2nd to none.

Effecting more people takes away nothing nor negates anything from Prince in terms of artistry. Prince was a musical genius. Prince wrote most, if not all, his music. Dude wrote for many many people including Tevin Campbell early music which was excellent. 30 years from now, we’ll still be debating who was the greatest between Mike and Prince. 2 icons…. just a sad day.
