This movie is amazing. it’s the origin of the Blankface. He goes to prison for a crime his homies committed all because he refuses to tell, even though he had his daughter and his own dreams. So when he gets out in ten years, maybe his daughter (the one piece of Joy in his life) is having a rough time, maybe she’s been hurt, kidnapped, or feels like she hates him. Either way, he comes out hardened…so begins the tragic horror of the Blankface. The man with no face, no emotions, only coldness and an appetite for violent revenge. Yo..:that’s creative. TDE is giving us classic visuals, music, and stories worth thinking about. I hope Ab Soul does a sci-fi one eventually. Or make up his own anime style that features stories based on his beliefs about spirituality and the government.
