This one hurts. Hip Hop has suffered a tragic lost today. Music attorney, author, journalist, executive, Reggie “Combat Jack” Ossé lost his battle to cancer this morning . He was 48. In October, Combat Jack broke the tragic news that he was diagnosed with colon cancer.

Combat Jack was well-known throughout the music industry. The Brooklyn native’s career began as a lawyer, who represented some of Hip Hop’s most notable artists including Roc-A-Fella Records. Combat is also a former editor at The Source and has also blogged on various sites. Combat is most-known for his successful podcast, The Combat Jack Show and co-founded the Loud Speakers Network. Our condolences to his family. Fuck cancer!
