Lloyd Banks Leaves G-Unit Records

On My Own

Nearly after 15 years with the label, G-Unit’s Lloyd Banks has decided to part ways from the record company, G-Unit Records. Today, founder and fellow G-Unit member 50 Cent took to his Instagram handle to announce his departure and to expect a new mixtape soon.

Lloyd Banks was signed to G-Unitl since its launch in 2003. During his time with the label, the Southside Jamaica Queens rapper has released three solo albums and two albums with The Unit. Releasing over a dozen mixtapes, the Punchline King’s last project was 2016’s Halloween Havoc 3. However, PLK ended 2017 with his “At Your Request” freestyle series that continued into early this year. Happy Independence Day, Banks!
