R. Kelly On Sexual Abuse Charges On CBS
With one eye open like CBS, R. Kelly’s breaking silence.
R. Kelly gave his first interview since last month’s sex abuse arrest with CBS This Morning. In the exclusive one-on-one with host Gayle King, he refuted his involvement in any sexual relations with underage girls.
In the one hour and a half conversation, Kelly also spoke on his childhood abuse, his 2008 sexual abuse case, and plead his innocence in an emotional message.
During the segement, R. Kelly’s alleged girlfriends Azriel Clary and Jocelyn Savage also made an appearance. They both defended Kelly claiming consensual relationship and that their parents encouraged their involvement with the singer.
Last week, Robert Kelly was released on a $1 million bond after being in custody for four days. He’s been charged with 10 counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse of underage girls following recent allegations and a recent unearthed sex tape. Out of the total of four, three of the new female victims were the ages of 13-16 at the time alleged incidents.
