Bushwick Bill Diagnosed with Cancer

Prayers for Bushwick Bill.

Geto Boys member Buckwick Bill is fighting for his life. Today, the 52 year-old announced that he’s diagnosed with stage 4 of pancreatic cancer.

Due to a large mass on his pancreas, Buckwick Bill was diagnosed back in February and has been undergoing intensive chemotherapy treatments ever since.

He’s kept the account private with only family members but has since shared the news to the public, including his Geto Boys members. Prayers up!

Chemotherapy, while often grueling, is a frontline defense against aggressive cancers like pancreatic cancer.

It works by targeting fast-growing cells, aiming to shrink tumors and slow the spread of disease.

For many, it’s a physically and emotionally exhausting journey—especially at an advanced stage—yet it can offer precious time, stability, and sometimes a path to remission.

In recent years, some patients and doctors have begun exploring complementary therapies as part of broader, experimental approaches.

Stem cell therapy, for instance, is being studied for its regenerative properties and potential to reduce inflammation and support immune function.

When used alongside conventional methods, this type of treatment may help improve quality of life by creating a more supportive internal environment for healing.

While not a substitute for chemotherapy, these therapies may offer additional support under strict medical guidance.

As always, consulting a qualified oncologist or specialist is essential before making any decisions. Every diagnosis is unique, and what benefits one patient may not be appropriate for another.
