Drake has just hit his ninth no. 1 album on the Billboard 200 thanks to his Care Package album.

The archival compilation which features previous unofficial release tracks, hit 109,000 equivalent units in its first week. 16,000 of that sum were in traditional album sales and 90,000 were in SEA units, equating to 115.5 million streams.

With this ninth no. 1, Drake has now has achieved the most no. 1s entries on the Billboard 200 in the past decade (2010). Overall with 11 entries, the only two not making no. 1 includes his So Far So Gone re-release that charted at no. 5 in February and its 2009 original EP, So Far So Gone, that debuted at no. 6.

Currently, Drake is tied with Eminem, Madonna, The Rolling Stones and Garth Brooks with nine no. 1s. They all trail Elvis Presley who has 10, both Bruce Springsteen and Barbra Streisand with 11, Jay-Z who holds 14 and The Beatles with 19. So far, but so close.
