Jay-Z continues to make more power moves, and this time, he’s teaming up with the NFL.

Today (August 13), it was announced his Roc Nation entertainment company will be managing portions of the league’s entertainment options including co-production of the Super Bowl halftime show.

In addition, the partnership deal will also help tie into the sport’s social justice endeavors and support the league’s platform, Inspire Change, which is an initiative to aide criminal justice reform and community activation.

Over the years, Jay-Z has showed much support for former 49ers QB Colin Kaepernick. Interestingly, Jay-Z turned down the opportunity to perform at Super Bowl LII. Last year, Roc Nation artist Rihanna refused her opportunity for Super Bowl LIII.

Among the current Roc Nation Sports signees include New York Giants running back Saquon Barkley, New Orleans Saint’s Dez Bryant, Los Angeles Rams running back Todd Gurley and more. You need Hov, Hov don’t need you.
