Common saves the day.

Inspired by his memoir, Let Love Have The Last Word, Common will be releasing his forthcoming album Let Love on August 30.

Here, Common and Swizz Beatz shed light on police brutality for the second video to “Hercules”. Directed by ART, the powerful black-and-white visual depicts Swizz Beatz’ son, Nasir Dean who witnesses a beating of a friend from street thugs to police. Common and Swizzy schools the young man and he participates in a rally where police violently intervene.

Last month, Common roll out the single with its first video. Captured by security camera, the video details Common walking into a convenient store during a robbery. He manages to apprehend the culprits with the assistance of the cashier, Vince Staples.
