New Album: Lil’ Kim ‘9’
Kim’s back.
It’s been over 14 years since the release of Lil’ Kim’s previous album (The Naked Truth), but the Queen Bee is back with her fifth solo album, 9.
The number 9 holds a special meaning to the Brooklyn rapper. 9 is the sum of the month and date of Kim’s birthday (7/11) as well as the date of B.I.G’s passing (March 9) and the born day of her first child, daughter, Royal Reign (June 9). Coincidentally, her previous group, Junior M.A.F.I.A., consisted of nine members.
Keeping the her hardcore appeal intact, Ms. New Booty continuously flaunts her assets (“Found You“) and her sex game stays on point (“Nasty One“). Elsewhere, Kimmy Blanco holds up with the bars (“Go Awff“) and then shares an introspective look at life (“Pray For Me“). Lil’ Kim is joined by guests Rick Ross, Musiq Soulchild, O.T. Genasis, City Girls, and Rich The Kid. Bow down, bitches.
I love nicki minaj, respect Lil Kim though.
