Eminem’s still killing it on the charts. This week, the rapper earned his 10 consecutive no. 1 on the Billboard 200 charts with his eleventh album, Music To Be Murdered By.
The set debuted with 279,000 in equivalent sales. 154,000 are in SEA units, which equates to 217.6 million on on-demand streams. 117,000 of the sum were in traditional album sales, and 8,000 are in TEA units.
Eminem now joins a list of artists with 10 or more no. 1s in total including The Beatles, who holds a record of 19, Jay-Z (14), Bruce Springsteen (11), Barbra Streisand (11) and Elvis Presley (10). Em’s 10th no.1 also breaks the record for the most consecutive of nine, which he was previously tied with Kanye West. Congrats, Slim.
