To coincide with his 32nd birthday today (March 25), Big Sean has officially announced his fifth studio album, Detroit 2 with a trailer.

Serving as a prequel to the stand-out mixtape, Detroit in 2013, the highly-anticipated LP will be his first release since his 2018 joint LP with Metro Boomin Double Or Nothing and his solo effort since I Decided in 2017.

In the nearly three minute clip, Big Sean previews various tracks off the project while narrating his hometown’s influence. He shares footage of the project’s creating process including studio time with Young Thug, Ty Dolla $ign, Hit-Boy, and cameos from Jhene Aiko, Post Malone, A$AP Rocky, and Wiz Khalifa hint possible features.

Elsewhere, personal downtime is shared including posing in front of a spinning rim with a few prized trophies, getting his hair twisted indoors, kicking it on the front stoop of his childhood home, trips through the neighborhood, and much more. Happy Birthday, Sean Don.
