August has risen.

August Alsina explores his roots and sums ups his recent trials and tribulations with his new project, The Product III: State of Emergency.

Leading up to its release, August released a track each day beginning with the hometown ode, “NOLA“. and then makes his “Rounds” in H-Town for the follow-up. Elsewhere, Alsina keeps his relationship intact (“Work To Do“), pens a letter to his nieces (“Sincerely“), and has a word with God (“Deliver Us“). The LP comes with a whopping 27 tracks with guests Lil Wayne, Juicy J, Yo Gotti, Tink, and Darrel Walls.

The project is also accompanied with a 5-park documentary, stateofEMERGEncy: The Rise of August Alsina.

This marks the R&B singer’s first project since last year’s Forever & A Day EP. Welcome back, August.
