As STARZ is set to premier the Power-spinoff series, Power Book II: Ghost on September 6, the network debuts a first look with its first official trailer.
Picking up where Power left off, Tariq (Michael Rainey Jr.) follows his father’s footsteps in a life of crime while balancing school at an Ivy League. The new series also stars Naturi Naughton reprising her role as Tasha, who is doing time for the murder of husband, Ghost. New cast members include Mary J. Blige as Monet, who heads a crime family, and Method Man Tasha’s attorney, Davis Maclean.
Power Book II: Ghost premieres on Sunday, September 6 at 9pm EST on STARZ. Three other spinoffs to continue the series have already been announced and will soon follow.
