Tory Lanez Pleads Not Guilty In Shooting

Tory Lanez is still claiming his innocence in his alleged shooting of Megan The Stallion.
The New York Daily News reports that on Wednesday (Nov. 18), Tory’s lawyer entered a not guilty plea on his client’s behalf. If convicted, the 28 year-old rapper, born Daystar Peterson, faces a maximum sentence of 22 years and eight months in state prison.
Last month, Tory Lanez was charged with a felony count of assault with a semiautomatic firearm and a felony count of carrying a loaded and unregistered firearm in a vehicle. He was also issued a protection order to stay 100 yards away from Megan and surrender all of his firearms.
On June 12, Tory Lanez was accused of shooting Megan Thee Stallion at her feet as she was exiting their vehicle following a dispute in Hollywood Hills.
