X is coming.

After a month since his untimely demise, DMX eighth studio album and first posthumous album Exodus will arrive on May 28.

Described by “themes of redemption weave throughout Exodus”, which is named after DMX’s youngest son, Exodus Simmons, the album will feature all new material and feature Swizz Beatz as its executive producer.

The artwork was shot by famed photographer Jonathan Manion, who has captured some of Dark Man X’s most iconic images since the ’90s.

“My brother X was one of the most pure and rare souls I’ve ever met”, says Swizz Beatz. He continues, “He lived his life dedicated to his family and music. Most of all, he was generous with his giving and loved his fans beyond measure. This album, X couldn’t wait for his fans all around the world to hear and show just how much he valued each and every single person that has supported him unconditionally.”

Exodus will be DMX’s first album since his 2012’s Undisputed and his first on Def Jam 2003’s Grand Champ. Long live The Dog.
