It’s going down.
Mary J. Blige shares the first look of her upcoming documentary, My Life, directed by Vanessa Roth.
Executive produced by Sean “Diddy” Combs and executive music produced by Quincy Jones, the singer, producer and actress reveals the highs and lows that inspired her classic sophomore album and the journey to international fame that soon followed. The 82-minute documentary also includes MJB’s first live performance of the album during its 25th anniversary and features commentary from Diddy, Alicia Keys, Tariji P. Henson, and more.
Released in 1994, My Life is the second and highly-praised album from Mary. The multi-platinum album is her second Top 10 Billboard 200 and debuted at No. 1 on the R&B/Hip Hop charts where it spent eight weeks at the chart. It spawned the singles “Be Happy”, “I’m Going Down”, “Mary’s Joint”, “You Bring Me Joy”, “My Life”, and “I Love You”.
The My Life documentary premieres June 25 on Amazon Prime.
