Vic Mensa was arrested for felony narcotics possession at Washington Dulles International Airport on Saturday (Jan. 15)

The U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officers took the 28-year-old rapper into custody during a secondary luggage check where they discovered 41 grams of liquid Lysergic Acid Diethylamide (LSD), about 124 grams of Psilocybin capsules, 178 grams of Psilocybin gummies, and six grams of Psilocybin mushrooms concealed inside. Vic Mensa was transported to Loudoun County Adult Detention Center, where he was booked and released days later.

“Wow what a trip. I’m freeeeeee love you all god works in mysterious ways”, Vic tweeted following Chance The Rapper’s post “Thanks for all the prayers. My boy back out here”.

Vic Mensa was returning to the U.S. from a trip in Ghana where he and fellow Chicago rapper Chance The Rapper met with Ghana president, Nana Akufo-Addo.

Last year, Vic Mensa released his I Tape, as well as his most recent releases “The Taste” featuring BJ The Chicago Kid and his Virgil Abloh tribute “What You Taught Us“.
