R.I.P. Archie Eversole.

It has just been reported that Atlanta rapper Archie Eversole, who is best known for his 2002 “We Ready”, was recently shot and killed in Decatur, GA. He was 37.

Dekalb Country Police reports the rapper was shot by his brother, Alexander Kraus back on March 25 at a Chevron gas station Golf Vista Circle. Kraus, 41, was arrested for aggravated assault, but has since been charged for his murder. Archie died from his injuries at a nearby hospital on April 3.

In 2002, Archie Eversole released his hit “We Ready,” which featured fellow rapper Bubba Sparkxxx. The single is off his album,Ride Wit Me Dirty South Style and is widely known as a sports anthem. Our condolences to Archie’s family, friends, and fans.
