Ciara is on to “Better Thangs” in the video to her latest single featuring Summer Walker.

Directed by Mia Barnes, the nostalgic clip finds the two kicking their men to the curb and donning various throwback looks while celebrating girl power. They rock orange and green-colored dos, matching bathrobes, and dance while serving stunning looks in a bed of a pickup truck.

“Lately, I been living my life / I don’t pay the hate no mind / Doing better things with my time, yeah / Elevated to a new height”, Ciara sings on the carefree anthem, while Summer stays humble, “I got grace, put a nigga right in his place. / Ain’t got nothin’ else to say/ ‘Cause I know karma comes around/ So I pray, never waste mental space.” The two previously worked on “Ciara’s Prayer” off Summer’s chart-topping album, Still Over It.

The collaboration arrives following Ciara’s previous “Jump” single featuring Coast Contra, presumably off the forthcoming follow up to her 2019’s Beauty Marks. Meanwhile, Summer’s hot off her scorching feature on “Queen Space” from Ari Lennox’s recent album, age/sex/location.
