Tobe Nwigwe carries on his Sunday tradition with the release of his new video “Chopped It Up” with Farouk and featuring David Michael Wyatt on the soulful hook.

Directed by himself, the Houston rapper shares his introspective verse penned for Farouk while walking in a garden with his fellow choir. “Look, just chopped it up with Farouk, he been down ten”, Tobe begins before he is joined by his wife Fat and his children. “I clowned him then found gems in his profound sense / Of self-awareness, though this system ain’t the fairest / He made some careless decisions, but through it all he ain’t perish.

“Chopped It Up” serves as the closing track off Tobe Nwigwe’s MoMINTS album, which also features Pharrell, 2 Chainz, Chamillionaire, Cee-Lo Green, EARTHGANG, Dame D.O.L.L.A., and more.
