With the new NBA Season kicking off next week, Ty Dolla $ign and Mustard revamp their “My Friends” single with a remix for NBA on ESPN.
On the Mustard-produced track, the Los Angeles crooner alters the lyrics of the track with references to the sport and name drops a few of the game’s greatest players.
“I got K.D. vision, she a ten / Shoot my shot, like Kyrie, ain’t nothin’ but net”, Ty Dolla sings before repping his home team and shouting out PnB Rock. “Westside, Lakers or the Clippers, yeah? / R.I.P. PnB, rep the 76ers, yeah.”
The original which features Lil Durk, was released last week and is off the Ty Dolla $ign and Mustard’s forthcoming album. The 2022-2023 NBA season tips off on Tuesday, Oct. 18, 2022.
