Video: SZA “Shirt”
After much anticipation, SZA finally releases her long-awaited single, “Shirt”.
Produced by Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins, Solana clears her conscious on . “Blood stain on my shirt / New bitch on my nerves / Old nigga got curved,” she sings. “Going back on my word / Damn, bitch, you like thirty.”
The single arrives with the cinematic video directed Dave Meyers and starring actor LaKeith Stanfield. The clip depicts the two as a couple who go on a killing spree in a series of disguises before their parade comes to a tragic ending.
“Shirt”, which was previewed in the end of her 2021 video, “Good Days“, marks the singer’s first solo music since “The Anonymous Ones” from the same year. This year, the TDE artist has collaborated with the likes of DJ Khaled, Summer Walker, and most recently, Doechii.
