Jhene Aiko ushers in her new year with an ode her baby boy, “Sun/Son”.

On the heartfelt track, the R&B songstress sings the joys of motherhood and the tender loving presence of her one-year-old son, Noah Hasani.

“There’s no more cloudy days / Even when there’s no light out / I feel your warm embrace / You love me with passion,” she belts with her angelic vocals. “When I’m at a raise, you’re like the anchor / And I am so glad you came / Just right when I needed saving.”

Jhene Aiko and Big Sean welcomed their first child together, Noah back in November of 2022. She first shared the record on her social media awhile back but has since officially released it on digital platforms along with a piano version of the song. “Sun/Son” marks Jhene’s first release since her uplifting single “Calm & Patient” in March of 2023.
