Video: Smino “Polynesian”
After releasing his new single, “Polynesian”, Smino gives the record its visual treatment.
Drawing inspiration from the covert art, the video depicts the St. Louis rapper working late night fast food joint waiting tables and working the drive-through before canoodling with a honey in the kitchen.
“You don’t know my body / I got an A in anatomy / I got a fuck-nigga allergy,” raps Smino over the Cade-produced track. He continues, “I never fucked with you actually, yeah / I get my pants from the Japanese, yeah / Open the trunk like a fiber wing, yeah / Could never trick, even Halloween, yeah / I take a bad bitch to Jollibee, yeah.”
“Polynesian” is Smino’s second release of the year following February’s “Mister Misfit But Ain’t Missed A Fit In Months“, the first since his 2022 album, Luv 4 Rent. Earlier this month, he performed at the Roots Picnic.
