Kendrick Lamar celebrates the 4th of July with the premier of his long-awaited music video for “Not Like Us”.

Directed by Kendrick Lamar and Dave Free, the six-minute clip centers Kendrick bringing the energy of the record throughout his Compton stomping grounds with a few references from his public feud with Drake.

K.Dot rides through the city with Mustard, does a set of push-ups on cinder blocks, and visits a couple of local spots with hundreds of locals vibing out to the song including guests Tommy The Clown, DeMar DeRozan, Top Dawg, Dave Free, and Black Hippy, among others.

As Kendrick beats an OVO owl pinata, he raps, “Certified Lover Boy? Certified pedophiles / Wop, wop, wop, wop, wop, Dot, fuck ’em up / Wop, wop, wop, wop, wop, I’ma do my stuff,” before hopscotching and adding, “Why you trolling like a bitch? / Ain’t you tired? / Tryna strike a chord and it’s probably A minor.”

The clip also features a scene where Kendrick posing and dancing alongside his partner Whitney Alford  and their two children and Kendrick caging an owl.

Produced by Mustard, “Not Like Us” is just one of the diss tracks Kendrick Lamar released during recent back-and-forth with Drake. The record earned the Compton rapper his first No. 1 debut on the Billboard 100 and his fourth overall. The video arrives following his The Pop Out Out- Ken & Friends concert on Juneteenth.
