Beastie Boys continue their winning streak, and drop off a new track with some help from Santigold. This too will appear on their upcoming album, Hot Sauce Committee Part 2 on May 3rd.

Completely honestly, I got a copy of the album and its worth at least a d/l. Ive never been a Beastie Boys fan, but “Make Some Noise” was kinda stuck in my head ever since I watched that movie on 4/20, so I gave it a shot. Yes- theyre corny as hell, and they seem to kinda embrace that. But they also kinda take a different approach to rap, which is a really nice change. They apparently started out as a punk band (didnt know that until yesterday) and u can tell; they have a sort of distorted funk sound thats built more around a song than a beat.
