i dunno….i hope i start liking this record. I gave Run This Town a pass cause it was the radio record to make the lil wayne fans happy with riri and ye. But the drake record i am still trying to like…and i feel the same about this song. I wanna like it….I love Jay pre-“retirement” … there is a reason people retire and even he saw that he didnt have the same fire he had in the day…so he quit. then came back cause he gotta young girl and felt young again. Same reason my pops drives a corvette when he drove a van before his divorce. Still a Jay fan…jsut not so much the two leaked tracks so far.

That wasn’t auto-tune on the hook, it sounded like Harmony Engine, which is made by the same company that makes Auto-Tune. (Antares) And I like the hook for the fact its simple and to the point, half yall fuckin with Soulja’s simple ass shit and think it’s amazing, so fall in line
Personally think that line from Budden is much slicker than Jays but whatever obviously Jay is much more successful. Not sure how to feel about the track itself, just another Jay tune talking about himself. The monotonous production and grade C hook “remind” me of his “Vol 2” days which is personally my least favourite Jay album. Jay is quickly writing himself out of my top 10.
This is literally the worst Timbo beat ever made. He’s one of my favorite producers, but this is horrible, fucking horrible. This sounds like something you would find on soundclick. Who the fuck is picking these beats for Jay. This is gonna be Kindgom Come Pt. II with all these average beats.
