That Dream and Milian cover was WACK as fuck! I got sick of seeing that shit on the shelves EVERY-FUCKING-DAY in the newsstands in the airport I work in….It’s great to see VIBE back with sum interesting cover stories. Face it, u may hate Drake and be sick of Chris, but both of them niggaz been on ur tv screen non stop this year. Suck it up. No pun intended, but disrespect is…bitchez….

when the east had it locked, and NWA came on the scene, followed by Dre’s solo act and Snoop and the whole G-Funk era, what we received was a new approach to hip hop completely. and rightfully so. it was aaaalllll the way out west. when the dungeon family rose to prominence, we got the SAME THING from the south. a completely FRESH approach. east coast, west coast, southern hip hop has always been drastically different, but STILL HIP HOP.
now this nigga drake, raised in canada, is trying to mirror some shit he’s seen in the U.S. and its fake as fuck. so inauthentic. i’m still curious of how its done in canada. its obvious he has little to no control over his image which is a problem, but if he wanted control he’d have it. yes he has mic skills, but that ain’t shit at the end of the day. his brand is non existent, and he is being sucked dry as we speak with 5,000 features and guest spots on music videos galore.

How does Drake rap about real shit when his fucking accent isn’t even real? Dude is from Canada but has a southern accent? Last time I checked Canada is in the north. The extreme north. Why doesn’t have have a Canadian accent? And I have heard Drake on way more than one ocassion call women hoes and/or bitches while in the same rhyme brag about his wealth and his fancy, trendy clothes.
You might want to revisit the true definition of “keeping it real” before you finally unattach yourself from Drake’s nuts.

1. bret hart is canadian as fuck. i grew up listening to that odd (i’m from atlanta) accent. there’s no other like it.
2. there’s no such thing as “proper” english. there is standard english though…and the only people speaking anything close to that are european. everything in the west is a derision of the english language, regardless of color or class status. all different dialects and vernaculars. accents are based on voice inflection…and canadians definitely have a unique accent. maybe not ALL, but there is “such thing”.
3. if drake was really “keeping it real” [side note: fuck that term altogether] (once again), he’d let us in to what its like up there in canada. Outkast introduced yall to atlanta, NWA and Death Row introduced you to the west coast, Common put you on Chi-town game. …and drake? he’s a young money drone. so…there’s nothing unique whatsoever about a rapper from a place quite unique to the current hip hop picture?<—-mmhmmm, reason for skepticism.
4. he even said in birdman's latest joint 4 My Town "I'm Easily Influenced By The Niggas I'm Around" …lol, says it all.
5. content wise, i can wrap the nigga up. fleeting claims about women and their lust for him, fashion, having the game on lock, and various punchlines that all tailor to the aforementioned. oh, and success. and the nigga's delivery is exactly the same on every single record. he's a tool.
and they're sucking him dry. he'll be burnt out and the world will be disinterested by the time the album is ready. he better find himself a true-to-self identity before its too late. atleast then he'll have a unique brand. otherwise, its curtains for the hoser…word to canada.

I’m a female and this is coming from me. In no way do I support domestic violence or cheating cuz I’ve been victims in both circumstances. But on the real…this Chris Brown and Tiger Woods shit is gettin old. Can we move on? Tiger still the best golfer alive and Chris Brown still can dance better than just about anybody. Even MJ named him a favorite, reminder of himself. All that other bullshit is for the birds.
