And stuff like this is why the underground is dead and no one wants to be part of that shit. Back in the day when someone said they were on the underground, the harmonies, lyrics, and concepts were all stuff that would make you stare in amazement. Bands like Grizzly Bear, MGMT (before the mainstream look), and Manchester Orchestra, those are examples of what the underground used to be. Now when people tell me “check out this underground dude”, its all the same shit. This cat Tech. I respect his hustle and grind, but nothing is amazing me about the music at all. To each their own, i guess.

music is all personal preference so everyone quit your bitching its the same argument on every fucking post…now that we got that out the way, tech n9ne is that dude. hes one of the most successful independent artists ever, his wordplay is crazy, and unlike a lot of rappers that got crazy wordplay, he actually says real shit and shit that makes sense, he doesn’t just rhyme words just to sound cool, theirs always a story behind it. if your gonna hate on tech n9ne then please, listen to all his shit over and over, understand wtf hes saying before u hate…if you don’t got the time for that then please dont have the time to hate either. as for nas, kool g rap, etc. their dope rappers to and don’t sit their and say tech is better than them cuz obviously you havent listened to all of their shit. people are sooo ignorant, quick to hate, and dont even know wtf their hating on. be a real nigga, not a stubborn ignorant nigga. I would never buy or listen to him again, based on this sampling of his work. I admire this guy’s work ethic, and props to him for making it in the music business. I like Skyzoo, NAS, Wu-tang, think Gibbs is promising, Mos Def, Black Thought. For each of these artists if I got the wrong sampling of their work I would not have gotten into them, perhaps.
