Wish he’d pick another 1st single.
This doesn’t have me amped for the album to be honest.
The beat is too wack for me to even stomach the lyrics.

I fucks with Nas, a hip hop beat, no singing, no autotune, no bullshit. Dope lyrics over dope drums.

@ So Icy Boy u r a fucking retard… Stick to listening to Waka Flocka and sit u country ass down… Nas is HIPHOP.
Nas got Denzel in his visual ; joint will be ill & let’s not forget “Sosa” in the 2nd clip #HipHopBack
These two guys right here (nas and az) can abdicate jay z and kanye.
Abdicate = to de-throne
Now can we get a nas an az collab album…. Ive waited long enough
When you have pure “God Given” talent the need for a top 10 Billbiard Chart single, the streets or club spins is NOT needed to sell multi-platinum/gold every album throughout your career that expands for damn near 2 decades.
Nas has toured across the globe for over 2 years off an album (Distant Relatives) that had no top 10 single, that was not embraced by the streets or clubs due to the quality of music/message the album displayed. Only being blessed with REAL talent gives you this type if career! It’s understandable why some would hate on such ability succeed!
@musiq stylez – i feel you homie. real talk
Nas is WHACK as fuck. Calling someone the GOAT who writes and raps lines like ”Cheap as limousine liquor” is ridiculous beyond belief. This guy only lives off Illmatic, all his other albums have been terrible garbage. Did he borrow the lyrics on Nasty from Gucci Mane?
Bout time we have some good hip-hop back. Nas taking it back to the essense with this song. Glad to see him going back to the days when he filmed all his videos in QB and equally glad to see him link back up with AZ.
come from the will of ezekiel..to pop thousand dollar bottles of scotch.smoke pot and heal the people
Nas have 7 platinum solo albums. 7 ! Do your research lil man
”Check it, I had One Love for niggas, those days are over
Halftime expired, the game is over
It ain’t hard to tell, you pay niggas, not to rob you
Life’s A Bitch and so are you
I Am, a nightmare to Street Dreams
My New York State Of Mind will outshine ya weak team
Take a trip down Memory Lane
Niggas had ya ride in flames
You didn’t represent nigga you cried in pain
If the world is yours nigga why you hide ya chain?
If ya girls is yours, I won’t even go there
My niggas, respected, yours is labeled cowards
If rap is a gun, I Gave You Power
You better watch them niggas, thats close to you
Or I’ma pop them niggas
If you could see the future, whats the outcome nigga
It Was Written, you think you a thug
You rule the world, I’ma take it in blood
You a Suspect Nigga wit a live niggas rap
I’m sendin’ you the Message, ya rhymes are wack
One time for the mind, I’ma make you bow
And I’ll prove who’s the illest, so Hate Me Now”

^ what he she said
The problem with Nas is that each time he comes out with a new album, people “hope” the album meets expectations and it usually doesn’t. We sit back and wait to see what he will deliver and frankly, he’s made poor albums since his first 2-3. Nas is just one rapper who doesn’t get it. He’s supposed to be not just a rap icon, but a music icon and his poor business decisions and poor music direction has hurt him. It’s laughable to read “hes been touring for 2 years off the distant relative” album. You have to be a complete moron to believe people are going to see Nas and Damian Marley to hear Nas hit those BS songs nobody even bothered to listen to. I like Nas, I check for his music, but im sorry, the crap is always subpar. Hes living off the illmatic hype and nothing more
Nas has hype around his albums. It’s the hype of HOPE. Whenever there’s word that a Nas CD is about to drop, folks get hype on the hope that Nas won’t be on that BS this time around. The HOPE that he’ll put together something atleast in the lane of Illmatic, It Was Written, or even I Am because we have heard him when he’s reaching his potential. I’m a Nas fan and have continued to support him, but the last few outings and him going for shock factor has been disappointing. He doesn’t need gimmicks. He doesn’t need to experiment with his music. Just link up with some producers that’ll bring the best out of him lyrically and drop a quality album.
@Skills, try again, u and ur favorite rapper is wack n prolly still stuck on stupid n in d hood. Ur rhymes is cheap like limousine liquor. Haa
@Mike, tell them why u mad son. you heard rite, DR tour has been on for 2 years its been all sold out, oh u think everybody is sheep n dumb? news flash, there r peeps that actually wanna listen to dat real music from d soul with thought provoking message in it. u need to wake up b4 ur times out, wtf.

Niggaz keep complaining that Nas’ albums suck, but then you say he’s living off of Illmatic… Well Illmatic is the greatest fuckin hip hop album ever so not even Nas himself can top it (unless he gets all the same producers from the album).
HAHAHAA niggas keep hatin on Nas, but you spend time checking for him and typing up essays to hate on him… lame ass niggas.. Nas is the GOAT bitches.. why do your favorite rappers want to work with him (Wayne, Rick Ross, Jay-Z, Drake, J. Cole, Waka Flocka) hahahahahaha
