This new wave of rappers softer then jelly, jam, fruit spread you name it. Hip hop has been slowly dying for a while, sales aren’t what they used to be, and neither is the quality. It’s not that rap is necessarily getting ‘worse’ as a whole, but most MCs today are stagnant, not moving their sound foward and then you got these kids (Mac, Wiz, Sean, Cole) pushing their diva bullshit.

P.S. Somebody needs to keep good beats away from Mac Miller, cuz his lyrics don’t stand up to them and the ignorant pay the lyrics no mind and think this is high quality music.

i liked the whole album. it has a kind of a relaxed feel to it. never been a fan before, but Blue Slide Park really impressed me

This is music. People keep complaining that Hip Hop is dying… it’s not dying at all, Sure Mac Miller isn’t a “Hard” rapper and he doesn’t claim to be. He can spit and so can BIG Sean, J Cole, Wiz, etc and when they spit along with a beat, that’s called Hip Hop, whether it’s “hard” or not.

My Favorite rapper out of these guys is either drake or j cole and then mac but i dont think his album will be as promising as J cole’s has been or drakes. wale im not a fan of but his album proved to be pretty good. so until donald glover aka childish gambino or mac drops their albums this is my list
