’11 Best Guest Verses: #3 Eminem “Throw It Up”

Time and time again, Eminem proves why he’s one of the best to ever clutch a microphone. On Yelawolf’s “Throw It Up”, he anchors the track with clever couplets, witty limericks, and an undying penchant for fast food ,“I’m a rapper/ Then I wrap her/ In the head/ With a Whopper, that I bought from BK/ You expect me to be proper?” Nope. Have it your way, Marshall.
Ugly boy sway
this verse is point blank whack….
Agreed…Em’s one of the greats..PERIOD
I never heard this track
And now that I have I realize what a 4 minutes I wasted. Next nominee please
So many better guest verses in 2011 than that smh
smh…this is flat out disgusting now…have you NO shame???
RR is basically to Shady what navjosh’s HHNM site is to G-Unit?
the blog game has less integrity than and is just as crooked as corporate…but even worse because it tries to pawn itself as some kind benign alternative
Eminem is DEFINITELY one of the best to do it. Went back and played his first 3 albums. Classic. Relapse has grown on me over time. Recovery was decent. He;; The Sequel was pretty good.
BUT, his guest verses have been lacking. This one in particular. He’s been hit or miss recently. The line that you guys quoted in the text is one of the worst and corniest. Why does he insist on referencing McDonalds, BK, Wendys, or whatever fast food place in his lines? Does he not have something to rap about anymore? I’ve already accepted that his flow will never be the same, but hes at least had some decent lyrics. Just not on this one.
Hopefully Eminem shows some better verses this year.
I DON’T LIKE EMINEM, BECAUSE HIS IS WHITE!
BEST QUEST VERSES:
JEAN GRAE – “UH OH”
RAPSODY – “20 FEET TALL (REMIX)”
…
IMMORTAL TECHNIQUE – “W.A.R.”
NAS – “GHETTO DREAMS”
KENDRICK LAMAR – “BURIED ALIVE (INTERLUDE)” – KILLED RAKE ON HIS OWN ALBUM!
PHAROAHE MONCH – “CHILDREN”
DON’T START NONE, WON’T BE NONE!
Are you guys serious RR? This verse was awful.
Just cuz Em said he “kilt that shit” on the skit after this track doesn’t mean you have to agree with him …
* HE IS
**GUEST
DON’T START NONE, WON’T BE NONE!
No.1 should be nas verse on tha carter iv outro
Yea I don’t agree with you RR. This wasn’t a good verse at all. And this is coming from a huge Eminem fan.
kendrick lamar’s – Take care verse better be number 1!
Isnt it a known fact that this verse was trash?
Eminems fan made a petition and got like 10,000 people to sign online and sent it to em say
TRY HARDER
– nas nasty. Best song of 2011
this verse was wack you kiddin me ?
But can you count Kendrick Lamars verse? Because, sure it was a verse on the ALBUM, but it wasnt a guest verse on a song…it was a song by itself. Or was it? I dont know. But I dont know if you can include that. For it to be a guest verse, the initial artist would have to be on it right? It was just K.Dot by himself?
HOPEFULLY they include it. Kendrick killed the entire Take Care album with that one verse.
Lol WUT. Im like the biggest stan @RR but this verse was AWFUL
This verse is wack as fuck…..and dat nas verse on carter four is much better…hell even rick ross verse on lord knows was better than that shit
Strongly disagree… yall are just suckin this mans dick. This verse was garbage
I loved Eminem’s delivery on this track, but Yelawolf’s verse was a lot better.
ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME? This was possibly Eminem’s worst verse OF ALL TIME. Fuck, what is it with you RapRadar being biased as fuck toward Shady because Paul Rosenberg owns half of the site. I cant fucking believe you listed this as one of the best guest verses. I’m an Eminem fan, but this was fucking HORRIBLE. Shame on you.
Yeah I’m also a huge Eminem fan ever since I saw him dressed up as a nerd with glasses on in the ”My Name Is” video. I’m 99 times out of a 100 positive about Eminem but even I hated this verse. No flow, no passion and no nothing. Please Em, stop the screaming and lay down some verses that don’t sound forced and do it in the ”The Marshall Mathers LP” voice. I always get the feeling he took like an hour to write a song during his first three albums and now it sounds like he keeps rewriting and just is trying too hard. I miss the doped up Slim Shady.

oh you mean the verse that made stans start a website to tell em how wack he has been lately?
http://youletthefansdown.com/
this is fucking AWFUL
this was such a bad verse..talkin about whoopers n shit? come on
I love Em, but are y’all serious? This was one of Eminem’s weakest features ever, one of the worst songs on Radioactive and just hard to listen to. I’ll admit it has a catchy flow but besides that it’s unbearable. There are plently of better features
who cares about the wordplay, Eminem is talking about bullshit the whole time. Nobody wants to hear him rapping about fast food. I think this post should be in the “You Played Yourself” sidebar RR. Fail.
The only thing good about eminems verse was his flow but its the same flow he always uses so it gets boring. There is no substance in that song. I miss the days where he use to rap about something relevant with a good flow and amazing lyricism. The Marshall Mathers LP and The Eminem Show are classics. He needs to get back to that.
Besides all the talk about RR’s bias to Em, this verse isn’t even in the Top 5 of the second half of 2011. Kendrick alone has two verses way iller (The City, Buried Alive). Too many dope features for this to even be in the conversation (no disrespect to Em).
enough said
WRONG LYRICS HAHAHAHAHA
then i wrap her, in a whopper? hahahahhaah
its wap her, like throw it at her from the car you idiot…. you fell off elliot… you post bullshit, and you dont know the rap game, fuck your connections.
im a em stan
but fuck this verse
WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU SMOKING? This is one of the worst verses in rap of all time.
Even Gangsta Boo had a better verse than Em……good god he fell off
[…] “Rollin” l #4 Tyler, The Creator “Martians vs. Goblins” l #3 Eminem “Throw It Up” l #2 Drake “I’m On One“ Share […]
I can’t tel whether this is a sarcastic list or not.
This was one of the wackest verses of Eminem’s career. Good lord…
Paul Rosenberg appears to be Eminem’s biggest yes-man. I can only pity Em.
I honestly pray Em’s next album isn’t full of this kind of retarded lyrical content (and flow).
What THA FUCK!! Are y’all nuts! That shit was one of the best fucking verses of all time, are y’all niggas deaf!
#fansdown
The thng is you guys compare eminem to slim shady which is absolutely wrong, that verse was well written, lot of creativity going on ryt de… It is all abt hw he wrote it..neva compare eminem to slim shady…coz even if he fell off,he is stil better dan wayne, drake, rick ross n adas.. Listen to music without comparing coz even canibus was more harder back in de 90s n nw he is stil hard bt nt dat harder…so don’t compare..appreciate music n dope verses
seriously? EM is my favorite MC, or atleast was.. but this verse is just straight wack…
HUGE Eminem fan, I even liked Relapse, but this had to be one of the worst verses I have ever heard from Eminem, aside from both his features with T.I.
The fuck is he talking about Whoppers and shit for? Shit is lame, super lame.
Verse is wack as hell. The lines posted in the OP are elementary level garbage.
Uninspired ass verse. He did yela yet another favor by being on the album. But he should have rapped about something that ppl actually give a fuck about. His verse disnt hav shit to do with the two other verses. Its like yela had an idea for a song…worte a verse…met ms. G-boo and SHE spit the illest shit she could ever think of, laid it dow on the track and then they begged em for a verse. I like this song becuz of the flow..not the content. G boo is annoying tho. Sounds more like freestyle to me.
