Dudes are too conditioned/brainwashed from labels like YMCMB/MMG to appreciate real lyrics like this. Their ego is still in the fantasy rap world where they believe that Wayne and Game are actual bloods and still gang bang and Rick Ross really sold drugs in his past. Real recognize real though, dude’s probly don’t wanna listen to trip cuz hes not big or not signed and they don’t hear him in the clubs/radio or see him on TV so they figure that hes not poppin.
