i dont give a fuck about how much the white boy sold
oh sorry youre right this isnt what the streets want…they want some stupid shit like future and chief keef thats killin what hip-hop actually fuckin stands for…remember when rap actually had a message and wasnt just about guns and drinking? this shit should be called what the street needs, not wants
term rarely disappoints.

@nik 1st. if you look to music for a message, then that’s sad smh.
2. dont act like all rappers back then had a positive message: it ain’t no fun if the homies cant have none & gimme the loot, you call those songs with a positive message?? LMAO, try U.N.I.T.Y or fight the power
3. tbh i can give two fucks abt a positive or negative message, i love wordplay.
1st of all, if you listen to music and youre not looking for a message youre not fully understanding the music or the artist…
2nd, i never said it actually had to be a positive message, or even that deep of a message, im just sayin every single “hit” song being about the same exact shit gets boring, i dont wanna hear the message of “lets dance and drink in the club and i got a lot of money”
3rd, every song has a message, even gimme the loot had a message…that message was gimme the loot…
4th, maybe if you werent racist youd have given this song a listen youd realize the beats these guys have are incredible and they can spit better than half of the popular rappers nowadays
5th, and if by worplay you mean a bunch of rhymes that in the end have no fluency throughout the song, youre retarded
that’s not what i meant smh, what i meant was:
A RAPPER CAN BE TALKING ABOUT POVERTY, THEIR BANK ACCOUNTS OR EVEN BLOWING SOMEONE’S HEAD OFF, I DON’T GIVE A SHIT, AS LONG AS THE WORDPLAY IS CLEVER & YES IT HAS TO MAKE SENSE. PERSONALLY I DON’T LIKE STATIK SELEKTAH & TERMANOLOGY, & IF YOU’RE RESPONSE IS GONNA SAY SOMETHING ABOUT ME NOT KNOWING “REAL” HIP-HOP, THEN PLEASE SAVE IT B/C I DONT KNOW WHAT “REAL” HIP-HOP IS, ALL I KNOW IS THE MUSIC THAT I FUCK WITH. Whether it’s kendrick lamar, wayne, lupe, tech n9ne, etc
@pulp fiction
back in the late 80’s when rap was in its infancy was about power, equality, celebrating life and paved the way for current artists. it was also about creativity, wordplay and being real about who they were and to not take things for granted. and that culture has spread to others and people appreciate it and can relate to it. the record industry nowadays just wants to portray fake shit and make a ton of money off these green screen artists that have no content or lyricism. your list of artists you listen too is proof of that beside kendrick he can kick it. there are many artists from back in the day that would eat these guys alive today that are ruining rap/hiphop. we can only blame the industry for this misfortune. in case you dont know eminem has outsold any rap artist and music artist in the past 14 years the only artist second to him in sales is the beattles.
people will have there thoughts on what they like and thats fine but dont knock true hiphop out your ignorance of not knowing what it truly is and what it encompasses.
^^^^i hate when people bitch and moan about what hip-hop used to be, what it should be or what it shouldnt be. If you don’t like they way it is now, then dont fucking listen to it, dig in your fucking dusty ass crates & listen to the hip-hop you want to listen to and stop crying all the fucking time. And so what, I listen to wayne, what so that means I dont know hip-hop? Even though I have common, az & mos def in my ipod. You old heads make it bad for young niqqas sometimes b/c yall so quick to judge on what they listen to and keep it real with niqqas b/c not every rapper back then was nice, so dnt even play that bullshit.
THESE TWO GREY DUDES NEED TO CHILL….
funny… T.I seems to think he knows what the streets want to
Is that Steve Blake?
