  7. How Wonderful... says:

    @ Static and Protest

I have known several dudes to get released after being conficted for murder. Thats the justice system. Dudes getting life for cocaine most likely serve life due to conspiracy to distribute and most likely get hit with the RICO statute. I always liked Chi ali though. he never reached his full potential as an artists back in 92.

  8. Carlito says:

    Well said Mr. How Wonderful

I guess a couple of you guys don’t know much about the law or never heard of a plea deal. He wasn’t found guilty by a jury/court for murder, he took a plea deal which is always less of a sentence (time in jail)/less of charge compare to if he had turn down the deal, took his chances in court and found guilty.

Also when you get charge with conspiracy to distribute cocaine there are rarely any plea deals on the table unless you’re willing to snitch on a bigger fish.

  9. loser says:

HE TOOK A LIFE AND THIS HIP HOP “CULTURE” LOOKS THE OTHER WAY IN ANTICIPATION OF AN ALBUM RELEASE???? THAT JUST GOES TO SHOW HOW FUCKED UP THIS WORLD IS. SO THE PEOPLE RESPONSIBLE FOR KILLING THAT YOUNG MAN LIL JOJO IN CHICAGO ARE ALSO WELL DESERVED OF A STANDING OVATION?? THERE ARE NO VALUES NOR MORALS AMONGST THIS “CULTURE” THAT CELEBRATES THE RELEASE OF A CONVICTED KILLER.

  10. Game change says:

I wish Chi all the best.. He served his time, now he can out a live his life. Chi was a good rapper, I hope he comes back and bring real hip-hop back. Only God can judge you Chi good brother, nobody else. Take care brother.

  12. Taya says:

I was very close to Sean the guy he killed. We grew up together. Chi shot him dead on the block we use to hang out on over foolishness. He has to live with those demons now. He will have to be the one to explain to his daughter why he shot her mother only brother.

  13. howwedoit says:

The crazy part is his daughter’s mother will have to live with the guilt of calling him up over a beef she had with her brother. Sometimes women can get cause more drama than a little bit when they pit men against each other. No excuses, however this brother has did his time and deserves another chance at life, he was young and dumb and he has also said he wants to contribute to the young man he murdered family., so lets not be so quick to be negative, a life was lost, now there is another life that can make a change and bring a difference.
