Curren$y loves to flood the game with free music, but last year, he made fans come out of pocket with his major Warner Bros. debut, The Stoned Immaculate. Through the clouds of smoke, Spitta pulls up with a bundle of standouts (“Chandelier”, “Showroom”). He’s equipped with witty lines (“Sunroof”, “Chasin’ Papers”, ) and stands tall amongst collaborators as evidenced by “No Squares” (Wiz Khalifa), “What It Look Like” (Wale), “Fast Cars, Faster Women” (Daz), “Capitol” (2 Chainz), “That’s The Thing” (Estelle) and oh, let’s not forget, the impressive “Take You There” (Marsha Ambrosius). Make no mistake, the jet setter has officially taken off. Stoners rejoice.
CNN crowned Nas best lyricist of All Time. where’s the post for that Elliot?
Jet Life to the Next Life. . . Jet Life to the Next Life
I have a hunch this will end up being the best list. Good choices so far
iono… i didn’t think this spitta joint was that good. PTII is still my all-time fav., though.
I really didn’t like the album at all.
@bighomie how ya’ll got french montana’s “all fake everything” remix on the top 5 post and you don’t have Cassidy’s meek mill diss up there…it’s got over 100 comments ‘n it’s bars 4 days. Hey I’m just sayin’
@ Jay-z that was one writer’s opinion. CNN didn’t say that. Plus, that article was POORLY written.
Not saying the statement’s incorrect.
I was kinda pissed that this album wasn’t pushed more. It’s actually a fly ass album.
nice. i enjoyed this album. the production was really good too.
Damn I just realized never took the time to listen to Spitta’s album but always like his songs.I’m gonna have to get on that pronto
Loch 50 Cent ft. Eminem and Adam Levine My Life freestyle: http://youtu.be/5JgMw5YMb5Q
Is this a joke? Album was a snoozefest. Nothing memorable on it.
curren$y is that nigga
I’m a huge Jet Life fan, and this album wasn’t bad, the deluxe version made it worth it. “One More Time” and “JLR” were on point. But Cigarette Boats, Priest Andretti and 3 Piece Set are always playing when that volcano vaporizer is hooked up. JET LIFE
I think it was hella slept on, in what aspect was it boring? Showroom, One More Time, Sunroof, No Squares are all great songs. Even the 2 Chainz- track was nice. I don’t see how this release differs from his other albums. In my opinion Weekend At Bernies is his weakest release.
This album was dope as hell. Damn near track for track. If the record label was really out to get him out there they would’ve put “Jet Life”, the joint with Marsha, and/or the joint with Estelle out there more. I highly doubt Spitta was worried at all about the mainstream. This joint was soooooo tight though. I haven’t heard Nas album yet, but this and “Good Kid, m.a.a.d city” are my favorite hip-hop offerings of 2012.
Not a big fan of this one. Was disappointed.
Spitta wit does mostabeats radioactive… Now look at this video I edited for my homie “The Voice”.
Spitta is one of the only rappers where I don’t care if the beat is wack/slow/boring, he still kills it. You can pretty much say that all his albums have been and will always be underrated.
one of the most prolific artists out there! Spitta is so consistent. Stoned Immaculate is one of he best this year

Let me know what you think and leave a comment! Got some overlaps with RR and some other new ones. Naming 10 best is impossible but we are trying to throw some shine on projects that we thought were great from 2012.
