i remember seeing the tracklisting. it looked/sounded pretty much like an album of “girl” songs; r&b-ish radio records aimed at the obvious. so expect an album just like this song.
which is going to work pretty well, i think. i personally find most of them not impressive at all, but i understand that this sells. they’re like a boy band.
funny story. i remember meeting tyga when i used to promote jon henry’s music in L.A. at the anaheim house of blues. he’s the cousin of Travis from Gym Class Heroes who we’d follow on tour to promote. it taught me that it’s all in who you know. meanwhile, he gave me his CD back then. it was some of the most garbage stuff i’ve heard to this day and we used it as a coaster to break weed up on.
