Our president appeared on Today this morning. When asked about Jay and Bey’s trip to Cuba, he reiterates that the Carter’s followed the proper protocol.
“I wasn’t familiar that they were taking the trip. My understanding is, I think they went through a group that organizes these educational trips down to Cuba. This is not something the White House was involved with. We’ve got better things to do.”
Lesson learned. People can’t take lyrics or clever wordplay literally. Sheesh. Besides, this isn’t the first time Hov’s had White House clearance.
