It’s been a fun ride, but after three years at Def Jam, Sha Money XL is heading to Epic Records as Executive Vice President of Urban A&R. During his tenure at Def Jam, he spearheaded artists like 2 Chainz and Big K.R.I.T. In a statement, Sha says:
“As I embark on this new Epic journey. I have a great vision for what the new record industry should be like, the music, the experience and lifestyle.”
big up sha..need to put AZ on the map still b
Sha did his thing, before Def Jam seem to only wanna focus on Ross. Only thing I wasn’t feeling was him signing Asher Roth
Seems like mayor players are leaving Def Jam like it’s a sinking ship.
And so the Def Jam ship continue to sink. Bail while you.
Wait…..he takes credit for the artist formerly known as Titty Boi? Only in rap can you change your name and act as if you’re not the same person. Wack.
To be clear, I think 2 Chainz is a terrible rapper. My last comment might have gave the impression that I support his wackness.
^
no one cares
cared enough to comment tho.
they going for a repeat over with the same dude who was at def jam before..
Another one bites the dust!!! DEF JAM a.k.a “The revolving Door” GIVE THE JOB TO IRV GOTTI already!!! Dammit!!!

First it was LA Reid, then Joie Manda, now Sha Money XL. Def Jam better not put alot of $$$ into William’s “Mastermind” album. Remember the GD’s WONT let William tour cities so he can make his $$.
Sha Money XL, yeah nigga !

Pop rap music as a whole(which is what Def Jam somehow became.. I guess it started around the time those video games came out) is not even worth denouncing anymore.. Its just the same level as Justin Bieber without the youth or some shit.
Meh. Record biz need new blood.
