Lil Wayne may not be a homo sapien, but he sells records like one. Last week, his album, I Am Not A Human Being crossed the 500,000 mark. As of today, the project has accumulated 510,819 sales.
Unfucking believable album was garbage. Hip hop is truly dead R.I.P.
not too amazing considering all the seizure promo he did.

I respect for him going GOLD, people forget Wayne has been doing this for a long time and while this may not be his best body of work his non Carter albums take a different approach so it’s not for everyone. However, for his entire catalog and his success you have to give props for him putting another plaque on his wall so SALUTE to him.

Sales don’t matter. The album came out this year and no one’s talking about it or him. The singles were carried by the features and Wayne gets bodied by EVERY feature on the album.
Think about it A$AP Rocky, Tyler, J cole, Wale, Ye, Jay, Mac Miller all have albums that are more talked about than Wayne…how quickly the mighty have fallen.
Ianahb 2 wasn’t trash but it was on the lower end of Wayne’s ability and was good enough to go gold, but not good enough to go platinum
