Get Rich was great but: 1) to say it was better than MMLP, and then 2) Insult MMLP? That’s crazy…
MMLP was definitely one of the best hip hop albums made… Get Rich was one of the best of this decade but… dammmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmn MMLP killed it.

Remember, Rakim grew up in a Jazz influenced family. It effected the way he rhymes and the perspective of many of his songs so him saying the jill scott album is the best this decade is probably more about the musicality of it all not just rhymes. And this is Rakim, he made Paid in Full, Follow the Leader and Let the fuckin Rhythm Hit em. It’s probably very hard for a rapper to impress him any way.
