For the first time since his 2008 Glow In The Dark tour, Kanye is hitting the road beginning October 19. He’s also bringing K-Dot to selected cities. Tickets go on sale September 13. Peep the full itinerary below.
UPDATE: For those who missed it, the tour continues on in the northeast starting February 13. Tickets go on sale this Friday at Live Nation.

interesting decision to not only have kendrick support the tour but also to address it so publicly from the off. I feel is yeezus was a real success he would have nonchalantly had a fellow good music member to support but because in kanye terms yeezus kinda flopped he needs somebody who is incredibly popular to maintain fast ticket sales thus maintaining his own reputation.

I’ll say this though. I’ve been to a Kanye show and I’ve been to a Kendrick show and Kanye definitely puts on a much better show(ignoring the fact that he has waaay more hits). He’s a better performer, puts more into the presentation, the stage, lights, all that shit. So I think if Kendrick wants to reach that next level being on tour with Kanye will definitely teach him a lot.
If he doesn’t play any songs from Yeezus, I’m in.
Kanye’s shows are incredible. He does a great job will the sophisticated stage sets and the light shows. It’s more Broadway than hip hop and that’s a good thing. Some who went to one of the Watch The Throne shows with him and Jay-Z may not understand that was really a Kanye type production. Jay was just along for the ride on that tour. This should be really good. Get your wallets out though cause I’m sure this is going to be a really expensive show.

I may have to check out the show at the United Center. The tour poster remind me of old Rock N’ Roll posters from the 60s and 70s, which I’m sure was the intention.
I’m not exactly a fan of Kanye’s recent output – Yeezus really came off as a failed experiment to me – but you still have to respect the guy for thinking outside the box, album after album.
