30 years ago, Kool DJ Red Alert made his debut on New York radio station 98.7 Kiss FM. He, along with Mr. Magic, were the first jocks to introduce hip-hop to the tristate area. To commemorate Red Alert’s three decades, rubbed the turntables last night with a fitting tribute.
