“…The Internet will make you think you like, famous when you really not—’cause people see your picture or whatever, on the blogs.”
Couldn’t have said it better. Light skinned Jermaine makes his cover debut on Beyond Race Magazine. Yep, it’s skin deep. Be sure to pick up a copy wherever periodicals are sold.
2010: Lloyd Bank$, J.Cole & Nipsey Hu$$le.
Chea!
Can’t wait till this man gets big and I can kick back and tell my friends, “I told you so.”
Can’t wait!
Muggsy Malone is another lyricist you need to look out for. Check him out.

J. COLE > REAL HIP HOP IS FAR FROM DEAD. IT’S JUST SLEPT ON. THIS CAT IS LYRICALLY DOPE. CHECK OUT HIS “DOLLA & A DREAM” CUT. 2010 > J.COLE + J.ELECTRONICA = THE RETURN OF TRUE HIP HOP LYRICISTS. SAY WORD.
I Love JCole, the song Lights Please gonna be the song to deal with in 2010…Its so much substance.

@ DON R. NEGRO
word
hes is definitely sneaking up on the game
J.Cole is all im looking for in 2010!!!!
^
But he’s not signed to interscope. Conflict of interest?
lol @ B.Dot
“the return of true hip hop lyricists”? is what someone said above…but uh…i mean…lyricists never left.
hip hop just needs balance though. mainstream balance. even out the commercialism with some substantive stuff, so on and so forth.
J. Cole might be captain of the freshman squad. The warm-up and his features have been on point.
Lyricists have never been absent from the game. They just not the ones in the front of class showin off, they in the back kickin it while the clowns goof off.
@B.Dot theres a funny story about J. Cole and Interscope though, you should ask your boy jermaine about it.
