RR’s ’09 Worst Albums: #4 Fat Joe “J.O.S.E. 2”

Crack’s my man but this album was the biggest misstep his career has seen thus far. In many ways, it wasn’t his fault. J.O.S.E. 2 was DOA, due to behind the scenes label drama, more release date pushbacks than Mystikal’s hairline and as I detailed last October, sample clearance issues that ruined two strong records, “Joey Don’t Do It” and “Music”. One cut on this CD could have it salvaged it but “Congratulations” should have been a dolo Joe record and not a collabo. Oh well, it’s back to the drawing board. But I wouldn’t dare count out the brother from the BX. He been in the game since ’92 and he ain’t goin’ out like that.

I predicted fat joe or rick ross triple c to be the #1 worst album of 2009 …but shit was at #4

These choices are fucking typical. For the best albums, you’re going for who’s hot, and for the worst, you’re going for whose not. Get a mind of your own…

I knew it was a wrap for Joey when I saw that his album was on MTV2’s “Mixtape Daily” segment. That shit was embarassing and u could see that shit on his face…smh…

I don’t even think Fat Joe should have been included, he been in the game since ’92, but I think all but he’s also been floppin since ’92, well all but that one album that went platinum or summthin a few years ago. Fat Joe is the equivalent to that show that’s been on the air for years, that nobody watches. He’s like the incompetent guy at work, who still has a job cuz he’s buddy buddy with the boss, but can’t do a basic task. *smh*
